Last night we had a wedding at Victoria Park Golf Complex in Brisbane in which the bride and groom (Lydia and Mick) had an alternative vibe.

Some of the artists included:

Then we moved into dancier tracks by Calvin Harris and David Guetta.

Tonight we have three events on in which include:

Hollywood themed 30th Birthday party - Maroochy RSL

Mitchell and Hayley's Wedding - Pelican Waters Golf Club

Kate and Brandon's wedding - Sirromet Winery Mount Cotton

Has been a busy last few months and ive got to update with latest events on tonight!

Last night we had a show on at Beerwah pub which went down as well as the cold beer and rum on tap!

First Weddings of the season kicked off last week with Christian and Jayde's wedding at Greensbourgh Greens near Yatala.

We played a laid back mix of alternative including artists such as John Mayer, Pete Murray, Sarah Blasko and many more.

Half way through the party kicked off and we went through till midnight with mostly top 40 and a touch of country for some of the parents hailing from Warick.

Tonight we have three weddings on at the following function venues which by chance happen to be three of my favourites!

Crown Plaza - Pelican Waters (Highly Recomended Sunshine Coast Wedding Venue 70+ people)

Tiffanies of Maleny (Top Sunshine Coast wedding venue for 70-30 people)

Powerhouse Brisbane (Powerhouse is where i would have my own wedding!) Great setting and can have a great big party with out any hassells

Ace Deejays was choosen to provide music/Dj services for the Gold Lotto pelican waters home giveaway.

One lucky couple won the home and 4 runners up were lucky enough to take home a Holden Captiva each.

Cruisy back ground music was requested to suit the laidback vibe of the Sunshine Coast :)

Once announced "Beach Boys - Wouldnt it be nice" was fired up with the roar of the crowd!

Just a quick email to say thank you for helping make our engagement party so fantastic. Ben was so great playing our favourite songs and requests. The atmosphere was made better by having a dj for the 6 hours!

Hi All,

Had a fantastic wedding last night in the Dayboro hinterland.

A great venue called Ocean View Winery (Highly Recommended)

Managed to hit a pothole and pop a tyre but these things happen :)

Music played was a newish chill style mix with influences from

Empire of the sun
Jamiroquai
Gypsy and the cat
Miami Horror


Once the dancefloor opened we played all of the big party songs!

Izak is of South African heritage so managed to squeeze in "Lion Sleeps Tonight"

Bought a bottle of 2007 Cab from the cellers so will report on that another day!

Wow didnt know what to wear tonight!

Girls certainly are all dressed to the nines and ready to party on.

We have had a bunch of 21st lately which are always good times

Yard Glass and Trance to some up the night!

Had a bit of Tiesto and Armin mixed in with other club tracks.

Fooball / Soccer game to begin with was awesome. Brisbane premier league players look to have some major skills!

Below are some shots of the setup at Saturdays Wedding. We also had DJ's at an engagement party @ Fox Hotel Brisbane and at House of Laurels Maleny.

One of the best tips i can give couples when working out there venue is to check sound level restrictions.

Some wedding function venues are in populated areas. They can have as low as 70db restrictions which is the same voloume as a group of people talking. Music has to be kept low which effects the dance floor!

We will always work with the functions manager to make sure volumes are at the right levels.

Venues such as Victoria Park which are well away from residential areas have a big advantage.

Just want to say a MASSIVE thankyou to you for organising and Ben for DJing our engagement party on Saturday night. The set up was great and Ben was fantastic. He really made the night, and we had an awesome time dancing. I had a lot of comments from people on how good the DJ was and how he played songs they requested straight away. Also his choice of music was great! If I ever need a DJ again I will definately be calling you guys and I will also recommend you if anyone ever asks. All my friends thought he was awesome!

Had plenty of 18ths and 21sts this weekend. Highlight was the 21st at The Hilton Brisbane. Michael Buble was in town so everybody was looking out to begin with untill the cocktails starting taking effect.

No worrying about the volume, time curfews for noise and people arguing over what song to play next!
